I saw on ESPN this morning where Kordell Stewart has publicly stated that he will not back up Rex Grossman and will demand a trade from Chicago if he's behind Grossmen.

    Uhhhh.... Kordell??? McFLY?????

You've been a MISERABLE FAILURE at Quarterback for two different clubs now. You're lucky that ANY TEAM would even want you as a back up. NO ONE is going to trade for you so that you can start - UNLESS a coach REALLY wants to be fired.

Bill Cowher would have done Kordell Stewart a huge favor 6-7
years ago by yanking that #10 from him in camp and reissuing him
a jersey in the 20 or 80 series. Kordell was a real threat as "Slash", but the experiment in making him a full-time NFL signal
caller was a miserable failure...and everybody can see that but him.

Who knows, Pittsburgh could have easily won a Super Bowl had they not gone the route of Stewart at QB. Their defense and riding the BUS could have gotten them there with a solid QB.

Neil O'Donnel played QB for them in the Super Bowl v. Dallas. O'Donnel threw two phantom interception to that Dallas db that ended up MVP.

Yeah I realize that....but I am saying those years where Stewart was QB, if they had someone that was good (better than Neil "I pulled a hamstring in warmup throws" O'Donnell) then they had a legitimate shot at winning it all.

Never say never ... the Saints might give up several draft picks for him.

I've seen the Saints do dumber things...

Sounds like Kordell has a case of the "Swollen Head".

He had his chance--To start anew in a new city, with a new team and was not in a QB controversy...until he played like crap...AGAIN...and created a QB controversy because he can't handle the offense.

Where else would he go to start??? Arizona? And even they wouldn't want him there!

I was going to say the Saints also but Hasselet or somebody higher up is in love with Brooks. So the Saint's have thier own problem child at QB.
