Looks like it's 28-3 at the half. Pretty much what I thought (minus UNT's 3 points...but I was hoping for a 35-0 score but oh well... :hihi: ) I think our guys know that they can win this game without going into too much detail (blitzes, trick plays on offense, etc) and sometimes it shows: Skyler trying to pick up that punt off the bounce (no doubt out of frustration with all these teams kicking away from him all the time and he's just trying to get another TD). If it's a conference game, he doesn't do that and we all know it and he knows it. JaMarcus still "looks" his receivers--he has gotten better with that in the past few games but still did it. Tonight, he did it again and he threw the pick. And is it just me, or does it look like when JV gets the ball, he runs like he's got no urgency? There was probably at least 2-3 runs he made in which whatever space they had (be it standard, or smaller than normal), he just didn't attack the hole like Carey has done. I'm disappointed with the way he's running.... Addai shouldn't be back tonight. I don't think his injury is serious (and you can't blame anyone for playing him--'Bama played Darby all game vs Utah State and at the time of the injury, Addai had only 3 carries. Just a "fluke" thing. However, whatever the severity of the injury; whether Addai is 100% healthy for next week, he should sit and rest up to make sure he's ready to play 'Bama. Perhaps because of the INT, JR MIGHT start the 3rd quarter to give him one more drive to hopefully end his night on a good note before seeing Flynn. One or two more scores and then we should see some backups!
UCLA ties it up. Stanford should not have been throwing the ball last possession. Could have left it with little over a minute and UCLA no timeouts. INstead two incomplete passes and they had plenty of time. Stanford could still get a field goal.
