    I am incredibly excited.

A national game which millions will watch against a great team.

    Flynn's first game starting.

I don't see how you can't be just a little excited

It's a great match up with two top ten programs. But some of the critics are calling this the "underacheiving bowl" b/c of the preseason expectations for both teams. All in all it is a great match up. ESPN thinks so, they are using Brad Nessler(sp), Lynn Swann and co with ABC to call the game.

    According to who?

Was this done through a scientific study or something?

I think LSU has a good chance to win this game. Matt Flynn hasn't got much experience, but all the experience that Russell had didn't keep the receivers from dropping pass after pass, and it didn't help our passing game ever look good. If anything, Flynn can duplicate the anemic offense we fielded this year.

As far as Miami, they have been anything but consistent, actually very similar to LSU. I see this being a low scoring close game, as most games against good teams were this season for the Tigers. This game will give me a better idea of what to think about Miles, but regardless of the outcome, I'll be very attentive to our play next year.

I am:thumb: ....The tigers are playing aren't they? Just because a MNC is not on the line, doesn't mean we can't be pumped.
