amen to that. same thing for florida. their resume is very similar to lsu. same record and only two good wins. they have lost to better teams and didnt play as many rpi 300 teams as lsu.
Note that Florida is playing Kentucky at Kentucky right now on ESPN. Florida just came back to tie it 30-30, and now we are going to halftime. The biggest games LSU has left during the regular season to gauge just how good we are: --at Miss State (6-2 SEC) tomorrow --Florida (6-2 SEC) on Feb 24 --at Kentucky (5-3 SEC) on Feb 28 Ashley Judd
At the end of the game, Kentucky hit a three to go up 68-65. With less than one second left, Florida got three foul shots to tie the game, and they failed.

i was underwhelmed by both uf and uk last night. calathes is awesome (sorry marcus but he would get my POY vote), they dont have much else. i expect cj and tas to have great games. hopefully gt can slow down calathes, but he did have a pretty good line in last years loss to lsu as a Fr. i wonder if they will play all zone D like they did against uk? patterson was AWOL last night. that uf zone killed him. i wonder if the tigers will use some zone (for the first time all season?).
Today: #14 Xavier (20-3) got beat down 58-71 by unranked Dayton (21-3). Unranked 12-9 NC State (2-6 ACC) beat #7 Wake Forest (5-3 ACC), 82-76. #23 Syracuse got stomped by #1 UConn, 63-49.
Injuries are the only concern i really have at this point. Last night's 2OT win at MSU may have been a blessing in disguise. Gave some of our younger guys some quality playing time when the game was on the line. Storm Warren in particular could use some work. He was State's best player in the first OT. There wouldn't have been a 2nd OT without his lane violation and subsequent brick on the following possession. But everyone's gotta learn from there mistakes, and I hope he develops into a clutch big-time player. I think he's in good hands. :bball:
he's gonna be a very good college player. he wont make AA or even 1st team All SEC but at least he'll be a great post defender for 4 yrs and he may even turn into the post player to go to (like Tas).
He did have a rough overtime session, but he also made some big plays for us in OT. Certainly a case of Freshman mistakes, I agree.
