Yea...Miles dictating terms to LSU to hire his assistants with guaranteed 3 year contracts. I have no problem except that means most of our guys are outta here...5 assistants for 3 years, solid.

At least he's loyal, but man if your defense stinks so bad for 4 years why would you bring him over to your new job to replace a top 5 defense? He better be AHC or something...

LSU should be the ones doing the dictating. Is there something wrong with this picture?

It feels like 1999 all over again. So much for progress.

At least he isn't bowing down to the Board of Supervisors like some have predicted.

Maybe the BOS want our assistant coaches out of the way.

I'm hearing the defensive coordinator Clay he is bringing sucks. Any word on this guy? I guess Muschamp is gone.

Only hope is that he comes in at another position. If I were Muschamp and I got treated the way it is being reported he and Jimbo got treated, I'd look for another job.

I couldn't agree more, this is why we should have held out a little while longer.
At least if you get someone dictating terms it should be someone like Saban,
Spurrier, JDR, Dennis Erickson, Greg Williams.
There have to be a few NFL coaches and assistants out there that would have considered it.

Greg Williams would have been a good canidate to look at. I live near the D.C. area and he really took a defense that had really no superstars and turned them into a top 5 defense.

I am going to take this thread as an opportunity to say something about the defense that has been on my mind....

If anyone other than Muschamp coaches the defense, the current players will likely be BORED with the new defense. Whatever they are taught will be simplistic in comparison to what they had been learning and practicing day in and day out.

    That's all.

I don't agree with changing anything unless it is for the better. Changing DC with the risk of becoming worse is not acceptable.
