I was at the game. Yeah its ashame that only 6400. I was also upset to see the people leaving. But what does that say about our fanbase? Leaving the game early. People left after regulation. People left after the 1st OT. It was a shame. Just like all those early leavers in football this year. Maybe its contagious.
I can't explain why people would leave after we forced OT...that is very puzzling. Even fair weather fans stick around when we do good. I guess those people are just freakin' dumb.
I agree. I stayed. But I could somewhat understand the people leaving when LSU seemed to have lost. No one could have expected a steal like that then a big 3. But, for the people who were there, I didnt understand leaving before the OT.
John Brady wins two games in a row...The rats jump back onto the ship they jumped off of before the USC game... I was beginning to get a little claustrophobic, anyway....The Anti-Brady bandwagon has been such a solitary ride, for so long...
Here's my thing... I don't want the team to lose, but I want Brady to stay... I know it's not a two way street. I only want, if the team is to lose, to lose BIG.... He can't be staying for much longer in the eyes of the school.. Think about it... The student section was SUDDENLY changed to "The X Factor"... :geauxtigs They want to slowly move away from the "Brady Bunch" and the "Brady Ball" stuff the incorporated in the past.... He's gone soon.... We have been given the hints... (edit... IMO, it's better to be a "bandwagon fan" than not a fan at all, like you TE.... Anyone who wants their team to lose is not in the category of a fan....)
A lot of people left when we were down by 3 with 14 seconds left; they had to be pissed at themselves. Les Miles got a helluva standing O when he was introduced in the second half. Good game for the Tigers.
Seems kind of odd that more people aren't giving the Tigers props for a good game. A good opponent, overtime, maybe, just maybe they did come of age. Lets support the team and somehow seperate the Brady "hate". Maybe next time people won't be so quick to leave. I know, I was glued to the radio!:geauxtigs
Sighhhhh. Where to start? You must be new here. There is intelligent life out there. It has nothing to do with Brady. It's LSU, and I (and most LSU fans) am very happy to see our team win a couple of games.
Ok, I'm 2 for 2 when attending games this year! :grin: That was one of the most exciting games in the Brady era. I didn't notice many fans leaving early, but maybe I wasn't paying attention to the fans. OSU shot lights out from 3 point land, hitting 18 3s. Some of it was poor defense, but a lot of it was just great shooting. LSU won by dominating the boards, making 29-31 FTs and limiting turnovers to only 11. As was my concern after the USC game, we again got zero bench production. The starters, except for Davis, played well over 40 minutes. This is going to take a toll on the team later in the year. Anyway, another good win...
You are without question a total and complete DOLT! I have said-CONTINUOUSLY-that I am an LSU Basketbal FAN! I love LSU Basketball. I am REPULSED by our head coach, his treatment of our players, the division he creates in the ranks, his terrible recruiting decisions, his treatment of Athletic Department personnel, and MOST IMPORTANTLY-his off the court decision making. I have said-REPEATEDLY-that I am a fan of the LSU Basketball players, and the team, I just have huge problems with Brady. I have NEVER said that I am rooting for LSU to lose. NEVER, not ONCE...I challenge you to find where I have. It's dimwits like you that don't have the ability to separate a coach from a program...It's like saying that SabanFan will no longer be a fan of LSU now that we let Saban get away...That's pure bullsh!t, of course we know he's a fan of LSU-first and foremost-and that while the loss is signficant, his love for LSU usurps the love or admiration he had for any one man as a coach, including Nick Saban... I am of the same-only reversed-opinion regarding LSU Basketball. Color me a "Brady-Non-Fan" if you will...But it's posters like you who attempt to pigeon hole me or put words into my mouth or misconstrue my intent that totally annoy me... Get a life...
