Getting crowded back there http://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/sports/lsu/article_1da4194c-085f-11e8-a44a-b3b69db66b27.html
Is 5 QBs, including two walk-ons and McMillan who seems to not be quite SEC level, crowded? Or was that sarcasm? I’m sure E will ease the pain and usher in a new era of passing euphoria.
Hearing about LSU getting a qb is like hearing my sister has a new boyfriend. I’m not really paying attention until I get a wedding invite.
Competition will only make the cream rise to the top. We have been having a two horse race for so long you didn’t have to out run the bear, just the other guy. Hopefully always having to compete will raise the level of the entire squad. It’s amazing how there are schools with two and three guys ready to step in and win. Look what Foles did last night!
Mike Detillier has often raved about Loving. He said he's often asked by coaches to find them qbs, but when he pointed then to Loving they felt they had better already. Mike laughed at that notion and said he does not know what these coaches are watching, but Loving can ball. His inference was local colleges not named LSU and he said he felt Loving could start quickly at most of them on talent. The only major question is his physical stature which will be greatly improved in the LSU strength program. I'm optimistic he can letter at the least. Most of us never felt Etling would see the field when he transferred in, right? I certainly didn't.
