But signing all those "preferred walk-on QB's isn't a sign of doubt. It's a sign of desperation that we are very, very thin at the position. I expect both Narcisse and McMillan to transfer after spring practice. What that means is no backup with any upside at all. Brennan may turn out to be great and play every snap of the season. He may suck. He may be great but suffer an injury. Where would the Eagles be if they didn't have Nick Foles on the roster when Wentz got hurt? Where would Bama be if they hadn't had Tua when Hurt started to suck?

The main reason the Loving kid was not highly recruited is he plays three sports. FB, BB and BaseB. He did not attend many 7 on 7 camps. The one he did at Nicholls turned heads, people were asking who is that kid. Honey Badger turned heads at an LSU camp. Miles wanted to wait to offer him, and Chief said hell no get that boy a scholarship. Watch his tape. Its not just good it's damn good.
