What did we find out about our team going into tomorrow?

All the teams we needed to lose for a shot at the NCCG won.

Alabama falls apart in the second half.

Oregon looks like the best team in the country

Boise plays against teams that look like they are high school teams. Nevada would be equal to about a Kentucky team at best in the SEC.

Our path now seems to be a possible BCS game if we win tomorrow.

    Scenario's left:

Auburn wins and Oregon wins next week they are in the NCCG.
Auburn wins and Oregon loses it's Auburn vs. Boise in NCCG.
Auburn loses and Oregon wins it's Auburn vs. Boise in NCCG.

Auburn loses we get booted out of BCS probably due to SC getting automatic Sugar bid and Auburn having high BCS seed will go as an at large team.

Still possibilities out there but they did not fall into place today for us.

At this point, there is only one thing LSU can control. Tomorrow's game. After that, we have to root against USCe in the SECCG imo. I refuse to root for AU.

We could always root for the NCAA/FBI...but I think it's fruitless with this timetable.

Nevada-Boise State isn't over. And your stance is a very ignorant one, considering Nevada beat Cal by 20 points this year. If you're scoring at home, that's the same Cal team which took #1 Oregon to the wire last week and beat Colorado 52-7 earlier this year. That same Colorado team which owns a win over an SEC team this season. As does Oregon.

So the talent level isn't as disparate as you and the other closed-minded yokels would like to believe. Parity is real in college football.

No it isn't. Boise St. wouldn't win more than 9 games with an SEC schedule, and Nevada wouldn't win more than 7 or 8. Quit kidding yourself. When you play cream puffs for 10 of your 12 games, of course you can get up for a game or two a year against real competition.

Neither of these teams...or TCU for that matter...have the depth to make it thru the rigors of playing LSU, Bama, AU, Florida, Arky, UGA, et al, all year long. They have good players one deep, and good coaches. That is all.

Respect is earned. The SEC has earned it. Deal with it.

Puuuure speculation on your part. And it's pretty had to earn respect when nobody will let them.

Anyway, Nevada just pulled within 3.

It certainly hasn't been the Friday that we all wanted.

You know what you call a team with good players one deep in the SEC? Kentucky.

Who's stopping them from playing better competition? Last I heard, there were opportunities to join real conferences left and right lately. What did they do? Moved from the WAC to the Mountain West? Or vice versa? I don't even know what the hell conference they're in. I just know they don't play anybody.

Who's keeping them from earning respect? Please advise...

Please Nevada...PLEASE!!! For the love of all things sacred...beat this cream puff beater.

TCU's schedule is so pitiful, LSU can jump then without any help if they take care of business against Arky.

Quick question ... Do you guys just not even count the fact that Nevada beat a Pac-10 team (the same Pac-10 team which gave Oregon it's stiffest test to date last week) 52-31?

Okay, I'm done, you aren't worth even arguing with because you just admitted you don't know wtf you're talking about.

Who do you think is keeping them from earning respect? The morons like you who want to keep all the money in the inner circle. Keep spouting off the party line and protecting the cartel.

Those of us with a brain can see how raw of a deal the non-AQs are getting here.
