Two very good points. I'm not saying USC isn't a good team, but taking those two points into consideration sure makes any arguement of USC being the greatest team ever seem questionable at best.
That would be too cool.... but Ferentz is gonna have to find some magic once again. Our starting OT, Lee Gray, is now lost for the season and two of the backs we were counting on recovering will not be ready early on. As I've said many times, our game @ tOSU to open conference play will tell us all we need to know. I've never been so ready for a season to begin.... for us it's 49 days and a "wake up".
But wasn't OU's '03 (two loss) team the greatest team ever? Scrappy, I still would've liked LSU's chances against USC in '03, and I absolutely believe we'd have won.
Speaking of NCAA 06, you think they would say some differnt things for the commentary. it's the same sound track. But, i think the game play is fast. i believe the stadium is up to date of what it should look like
Don't worry, my Big 10 brother, LSU will put a stop to that foolishness. You guys'll mop up in the Fiesta Bowl or something, rolling as Big 10 Champs over some opponent and cheering us on a couple of days later against SC.
good news, scrap 1) you can use the right analog stick to clean somebody's clock and... 2) you can change the controls back to the 05 version if you wish but that's not all..... 3) you can also change the menu music back to the college marching bands as well so you don't have to listen to the guys who weren't good enough to play on the madden trax. i'm not the biggest fan of the new player models (will get used to them) and even though the race for heisman was a good idea (it's a little thin in content). all that said i think gameplay is much better, catching and tackling animations are better and i like this version. ea usually keeps improving (or tries to) every year.
