Hmm, white American, looks like he has money to burn. Obama might not pay. He is white after all. His parents must have money. Lets grab him and send one of his fingers to the parental units.

Well the state department acknowledged today that it was indeed a ransom payment. Lovely. Oh they carefully worded that it was just used as 'leverage' and that it was going to be paid anyway at some point and time.

no, No, NO!!! You must wait for the intricately parsed and redacted version which will surely to be delivered by one of our progressive members very soon now. How else will history be able to shine rose colored light on his Presidency. It's not fair to Obama otherwise.

No they didn't. But it is certainly more than was initially admitted. I thought the definition of ransom would not include paying someone with their own money. This situation wouldn't seem to apply to any other group (presumably that's people's opposition)

They said it was held for leverage until the release. To say this wasn't a ransom is foolish.

And now we're seeing they went as far as to say it was CONTINGENT on the release. hmmm Still defending that position?

I explained and not one addressed the point. If you aren't going to read and comprehend there is no point.

I know you aren't that bright tiga, but they did not say it was a ransom as was claimed in an earlier post
