Gathering international support in the UN doesn't require words? How naive can you get? Have you noticed who is leading this action against ISIS?

If Obama said the sky was blue, you would criticize him for it.

The UN is a joke. I wish the US wasn't a member. Ahmadinejad spoke at the UN on Yom Kippur and he's a Holocaust denier! What has the UN done to effectively quell Russia? Has the UN ever stopped a war or invasion? They are a corrupt organization that has no interest in doing what is right. The work of gaining cooperation did not happen during that speech. It was nothing but a trumping out the colors, a political requirement. Obama does not write his own speeches. You know this. When left to his own comments, he often missteps. It's just not his forte.

And of course the US is leading the action. Who else? The rest of the world has already undergone pussification. ;)

Bullshit. On Thursday I posted this, " I approve of the bombings. Great job."

Irrelevant to the argument. The UN exists. The US is a member. Obama was doing his job by speaking there. The UN was never intended to be a world government, just a world body where issues could be discussed.

What president does? You know this.

All US Presidents do, so basically it's not that special, just a job requirement. Got it. If it's just about discussing things, and folks like Ahmadinejad are welcome to speak, then why should I care what "words" the President uses?

So then "words" are not unique to the Office. It's about leadership. Obama is struggling with that quite a bit lately. The US was the obvious choice to lead the attack on ISIS. Other countries sign on when it serves their interest. They didn't do it because Obama is such a great leader or speaker.

    At last.

I am quite sure you don't care. It's a pity.

Yet he's the one who speaks and leads them. Funny how that works.

If he said the sky was pink, you would come to his defense.

    So there is that.

    Yep.

    There it is.

    Obama is indeed correct. Again.

Too bad we can't elect him to a 3rd term.

Still singing the same old tune Red in spite of the volumnes of evidence that Clinton as SOS, all of his DODs, his Ch of Staff and Nat Sec advisor and nearly all of his national; security team ALL advocated arming the moderates against Assad as he is doing now starting as much as TWO YEARS ago. Had he done that the vacuum that allowed ISIS to metastize into the monster it is may not have been able to grow.
You ignore the point that the moderates we are arming AGAINST ASSAD are much weaker than a year ago so doing so has a smaller chance of success.
Most of all you are ignoring he is going back on his statements back then. In his own words we are arming the so called Syrian opposition and guess what sport...they are going after Assad NOT ISIS.
Wake up Red smell reality for once.
