The fact that there is no objective is a huge fail already. Nothing good will come out of this and we will continue to fund crazy dictators.
Absolutely irrelevant to Rex's point. Read the quote again: Where in that quote from the candidate are you getting: "But its OK if we win?" Nope, Obama said the President can't attack on his own. Period. Now that he's President, he's attacked on his own. Spin all you want, but the man was hypocritical on this issue.
That ain't what I said. When presidents exceed their authority, and they all do, they pay the price politically. Accolades if it is successful and condemnation if it is not. Nixon authorized political espionage, Carter attacked Iran, Reagan sold missiles to Iran, Reagan bombed Lebanon, Clinton bombed Afghanistan and Iraq, Bush 43 invaded Iraq. These were failures and were condemned. Clinton sent troops to the Balkans, Clinton bombed Yugoslavia, Bush 41 invaded Iraq, Obama attacked Pakistan. These were successes and have been acclaimed. Politics is like that.
And can you you quote me an instance where one of those presidents publicly stated that his predecessor had no authority to order the mission? Remember, I praised Obama in this forum for getting OBL, and I have no problem with Libya. I'm questioning out the hypocrisy (sp?) of Obama's attitude, not the military successes or failures.
It should be no problem to find any politician making hypocritical statements. Newt the Suit does it quite a bit. Maybe he is the Republican party's man to defeat Obama. He's rested and ready. He kept our boys out of Northern Ireland!

You missed the point. Wait a minute, you are the one who mentioned Obama's criticism of Bush. What wrongdoing? Your hypocrisy is fundamental here. You credit him for what he did and would have castgated him if he had done nothing. I defend Obama from petty, trite, political assaults such as this. You are really stretching to find something to suggest Obama is a failure by atacking Qadaffi. Nice try. And your points are designated A, 2, and D? :huh:
