You were in diapers, but the OPEC first tried to use the "oil weapon" during the Oil Embargo of the 70's. It failed miserably and they have never tried it again. It made their customers get a lot more efficient and dropped demand considerably. They also discovered that they were more addicted to money than we were addicted to oil. They were too selfish to close the spigots for long.
I didn't say it was on Obama. In the original article, the libs were blaiming earlier gas prices on Bush. I'm just disputing Red's supply and demand thesis. And you didn't get under my skin. Your analogy was apples and oranges. I still love you.
