    I don't know that Phil would have made that much of a difference. The cast of characters just don't fit. They are not configured to run the triangle with the egos they have. Theoretically it "could" work but there would be too much money on the bench to justify it. Will be interesting to see what they do with Gasol/Howard at the end of the season.

    Be hard to imagine how he wouldn't be. It is clear they (lakers) just don't have the right pieces at the moment. They need to get younger and anything coming off the bench would help.

    I'm a Thunder fan so I'm happy with the lakers right where they are. Leno got off a bomb the other night. Said Kobe scored his 30kth point and recorded his 75th assist all in the same night.
