I went to a Rockets game a few years ago without tickets. We bought two from a guy near the Toyota Center for under face value. An (apparent) undercover cop suddenly came up to us and said it was illegal to buy tickets (even under face) in that area. He realized that we honestly had no idea of that law and tried to catch up with the guy that sold the tickets to us to arrest (?) or give him a citation. Still don't really understand that law.
