Jim Chaney. Currently serves as OC at Tennessee where he helped turn around the Tennessee offense in 2009. Arrived there after having spent the three previous seasons as assistant coach for the St. Louis Rams. His previous experience comes from the collegiate ranks at Purdue, Wyoming and Cal State Fullerton.

Justin Fuente. Co-coordinator at TCU. Philosophy is “pass to score and run to win”. Calls a balanced attack at TCU and has a history of developing QBs and improving offenses to suit team strengths. Young coach who played some for the Sooners and now recruits the fertile Midland-Odessa and Wichita Falls areas of Texas.

    Paul Chryst.
OC at Wisconsin with experience at Oregon State during their 2003-2004 years. Philosophically seems to be similar to Miles in that he appreciates a good, strong running game that will wear down opponents, but he also opens up the passing game to achieve balance built around the players on the field. Experienced coach who has developed RBs and QBs.

    Steve Kragthorpe.
Name has been mentioned on and off again as fans discuss possible OC changes.

    Todd Monken.
Has a relationship with Les Miles and with LSU. Most recently coaching in the NFL as the Jaguars’ WR coach. Mid-western background with a philosophy that leans towards the passing game. Well liked coach.

    Billy Gonzales.
Current WR and Passing Game coach at LSU. Young coach who moved to LSU after Urban Meyer looked over him in selecting an OC at Florida. Developing coach, but coached under top-notch Heads, but may be lacking in experience as chief play caller.

    David Yost.
Missouri OC with QB responsibility (and recruiting coordinator). Missouri has a short history of developing top QBs . Developed an offensive attack that leans on the Spread but works to achieve balance for the Tigers. Has moved Mizzou up in offensive production

    Charlie Baggett.
Longtime collegiate and NFL coach now at Tennessee. Former QB himself, and quite competitive. He is successful at eveloping wide receivers and moving them on to the NFL for successful careers. Bit of a gamble in that he hasn’t held the OC role, though he has served as Asst HC. Helped lure Justin Hunter from LSU to Tennessee.

Dana Halgorsen. Current offensive coordinator at West Virginia and former coach at Oklahoma State.

    Doug Nussmeiser.
Currently the quarterbacks coach at Washington under head coach Steve Sarkisian. Was a reserve quarterback in the NFL for five seasons in the 90s including four years with the New Orleans Saints.

    Mike Leeche.
Former head coach at Texas Tech. Leach had a winning season every year during his tenure at Texas Tech but has some character-related concerns.

*THE NEXT ONES ARE NOT REAL LIKELY BUT JUST SOME IDEAS

    Ralph Friedgen.
Recently coached at Maryland. Long tenure as an offensive coach.

Mark Whipple. A candidate who can’t be ignored. Served as OC at Miami and coached Roethlisberger at the Steelers.

Philip Montgomery. Currently serves as co-OC at Baylor. Yes, that Baylor. The school that jumped from “nowhere” to #10 offensive production this year. Stops at Houston and Stephenville H.S. in Texas (state champs a decade back) where he coached with Art Briles (HC at Baylor).

    Chris Klenakis.
Long-time OC at Nevada. He’s the OC and OL coach there and a native of the state. Not likely to leave his long-time HC at this point in the season, but a talented coordinator.

Chad Morris. Just moved to Clemson from Tulsa. A great catch by Clemson.

Bryan Harsin. Just hired by Texas as their OC. Arrives from Boise State. We all know how prolific that offense has been over last few years

I'm assuming that gibberish is a denial.

As Delbert so eloquently put it: “If you can’t lie no better than that, you might as well tell the truth.”

Below are the first three candidates listed by you, followed by the post from DD

    You
Jim Chaney. Currently serves as OC at Tennessee where he helped turn around the Tennessee offense in 2009. Arrived there after having spent the three previous seasons as assistant coach for the St. Louis Rams.

I understood about half of that...

It is OK to copy and paste portions of articles and such on here as long as you provide a link and/or credit the original source. That is just how we do things here. You are new, just trying to let you know.
