He sucks as an OC. Saban pulled a Les. Told him to find a job and he became the receiver coach at TX.

Im hoping for Chow....apparently a UCLA defensive player tweeted earlier today congratulating San Fran's OC for getting the UCLA OC position.

Obviously Chow is still the OC at UCLA but somethings gotta be going on over there

Chow is out as OC of UCLA.

That being said, Chow has done nothing since leaving USC.

Do you think Les gets someone currently unemployed or goes after a coach currently at another school? Was chavis coaching or on the market when we got him?

I think Chavis was given the boot with Fulmer at TN. I don't think they really care if the guy is working or not. It's all about the quality of the coach.

I think we will go after a big name with lots of experience.

When Mike Belotti picked LSU to win the NC next year, I think he gave a big hint that he will be the next OC.

Because I wasn't being serious. It was tongue-in-cheek. Even if he took the LSU OC job he wouldn't be here but a year or two. But FWIW, if you love coaching and still want to coach, then taking a full-time coordinator job at LSU is not a step-down from being a part-time college football commentator at ESPN.
