Good point, although I'd say that with "my reasoning" I'd rank FL higher than the Barners, b/c based upon what I saw last night, I saw a FL team that is more talented, versatile and would probably beat the Barners 4 out of 5 times after just playing pretty bad against Auburn last week. IMO, Florida will be like LSU last year, the highest ranked 2 loss team at the end of the season, perhaps missing the SEC championship game, still with an outside shot at a BCS game. They're pretty damn good, and once they figure out how to play outside of Tim Tebow, they'll be better.

Lookie lookie, my preseason pic for the SEC East Champion is sitting at ol # 7 after halfway through the season.

Not to mention sitting atop the East as well...we should be 7-1 heading into Tennessee and possibly lurking around the top 5 depending on how everyone around us plays...if we keep this up we actually might have a rematch with yall in Atlanta for all the marbles.

PS You guys saw the emergence of Chris Smelley as a star in the second half at Tiger Stadium a few weeks ago...in his two starts he's thrown for almost 500 yards and 4 TDs, and matched "Heisman Frontrunner" Andre Woodson play for play Thursday night.

The #7/9 team in the nation lost by 4 to the #1 team who was favored to win by 8 points drops by 7 spots in the polls even though they overachieved according to betting odds....

Meanwhile a 41 point favorite loses and is still in the top 10

That is being very generous and I think they will decent, but after playing the teams they did no way you could give them respect.

Seems like such a short time ago everyone was saying there are 3 dominant teams this year. LSU, USC, Oklahoma. My how things can change so quickly. I hope the Tigers can keep it up, last night was awesome. At least we know one thing, they have one helluva coach.

Good points; regardless, Mark Mangino has done a really good job at KU the past few years.

Like Zook's program, you just have to give it time.

Hell, even Coach Croom at MSU is starting to finally turn them around.

Good joke. Even if So.Cal. wins out, You cannot possibly lose to stanford (at home even) and be considered a National Title Contender. That is a VERY bad loss.

McLovin..no desrespect, but I would much rather LSU! play South Carolina than see Florida again..Smelley just DOES NOT scare me as much as "Teabag Tebow" does....Don't forget Smelley was playing against Ketucky's Horrible defense..hope to see you in the big game.:helmet:
