    How nice that they miraculously find the ability to extend the season by one more week in order to accomodate this new format.

    exactly... which also means two more schools get in... Let's have another Utah vs. Pitt game... whooppee... and then the Championship game can be played a week later with two teams who haven't played in, possibly, 6 or 7 weeks... that's one hellava layoff... for anybody.
