Wow, just wow. I'm not trying to flame here. I never like to see players get hurt. You say that it is teaching and discipline. First off, they were freshmen. Secondly, they were playing in a close game, at night, at tiger stadium. Somebody said they might have changed the scheme. If they did, it wouldn't be a stretch to think that maybe the player didn't hear the change. I don't think it was intentional. I don't believe that happens very often where players try to hurt other players.

The thing about Ziemba, is he plays with a lot of intensity. He did send an auburn player to the hospital. It was because of a fight. Coleman was beating him off the end and he was getting frustrated. They've had fights since then.

It doesn't matter if it wasn't intentional, chop blocks happen too . . . damn . . . often with Auburn and the coaches must address it or Auburn needs to find some new coaches. If the lineman can't play the cut-blocking scheme properly, then they need to find one that they can play. You can bet your last dollar that every Auburn chop block in 2008 will get heavy media coverage. It just ain't worth it, amigo.

Did the Auburn players really WANT to cause severe injury to Dorsey...probably not. But, I have looked at the play many times. I still think it was intentional. This crap trickles down from the head coach. If Tubberville did not have the checkered past he has...the poor sportsmanship he has occasionally shown (most on this board know what I'm talking about), etc. I might think differently. Just callin like I see it.

intentional, unintentional, dirty players, dirty coaches.... we'll never know exactly which it was.

what we do know is it happened and wasnt called. THAT is a problem to me. sec officials need to pull their heads out of their asses sometimes.

if its bad coaching, you can bet that having it hurt auburn with penalities and players getting their asses tossed from the game, would make them pay a bit more attention to it and correct the problem. until then, there is no incentive.

What's this? The Tube has an injured player and he isn't even in contact with him? Aren't injured players still on the team and make team meetings and conditioning workouts? Something fishy is going on here. There are rumors that Ramsey may transfer to Mississippi State.

IIRC, Auburn was called for the chop in the Vandy (old OC) and Clemson (new OC) games. It will be interesting to see if the change in offense will make enough of a difference in the blocking scheme.

AU fans, did you change OL coach after the Peach Bowl?

Auburn just got a flag for blocking below the waist on a punt return. Dove into the players legs at a full run. Something is not right with the coaching staff at Auburn.

These type blocks happen way too often to just look the other way and say its not the coaching staff.

I agree with Okie that the most ridiculous thing was the ref standing right in front of the play and not calling it. LSU has been on the wrong side of too many blown calls against AU (and this one was @ home.)

I'm trying to be ready for it on the 20th, because it's sure to happen.
