What exactly was gutless about it? Had they left their name, would they have suffered as a result of it? Would there have been severe consequences for them? Just curious as to what made them gutless. Because it seems to me that if they had left a name then it would not have hurt them at all. So it's not like it takes guts to leave their name.

If they had left their name, they would get red. While red does not hurt a person, these people are indeed hurt by it... or else they'd leave their name. So, it's really a e-gutless situation. Because the imagined e-slight does indeed hurt their e-feelings.

I'm really curious as to how this hire comes out. Thinking about it...Crowder at BYU...spread 'em out and toss it around. Then, he incorporated some option in his attack at Oregon.
