Yes he is. Hopefully the coaching staff sticking with him gets his attention. He may need a mentor to watch him close early on. Still he's a local kid with great potential and purple & gold in his blood. Some risk, but worth a shot IMO.

 

Also Pocic is returning and Beckwith is leaning to staying as well. That is as good of news as other.

 

The thinking with Beckwith is that he is a strong lean to stay. If he was going to declare for the draft he should have done it 2 weeks ago so that he could start training for the combine. At this point he is already 2 weeks behind others who have declared.

 

Yes, those are usually the best prospects.

Well, it sounds like this kid does have a conscience, is bright, has good mentors, and wants to do the right thing. Less concerned now.

Not concerned about him at all actually. His "crimes" don't seem like a big deal. By contrast, I spoke out about Jonathan martin. That kid was trouble as was proven when he went to bama.
