LSU currently ranked 6th on composite 247sports ranking. With an average player ranking of 90.88 (7th best in the nation). That's not exactly bombing. No team has finished with a top ten class in a coaching change year that I can think of. Not only is he not bombing, he's arguably doing the best job in the country considering all of the circumstances.
Flipping the OU commit is huge. When judging Eaux im holding him to a high standard. If he kills it in recruiting that'll be a great accomplishment. If all the guys we've got our sights on don't work out, he's still done a fine job, but it's not exactly next level. We are competing with Saban, we need a guy who can kill it. We already missed out on draft eligible guys and some pretty big recruits. Now is not the time to be rational; that comes after nsd.
Shane was strong of the opinion that Trump would not run, would not get the party nomination, would not win...
I think O finishes out very strong. Picking up Phillips was huge. I think we finish strong with, Wilson, Mathis, Harris, and Gay. If we can somehow get Chaisson or Bryant that would be icing on the cake. Although some of tOSU commits from Texas have been tweeting about another big Texas name committing.
From what bhelm is saying, Chaisson is not likely. Do you have info on Mathis, or just a gut feeling? I sure as hell hope we don't lose another instate stud to Bama.
I think LSU gets Mathis OR Farrell, not both. I'm good with that. That allows them to get Robertson AND Harris. Swap out Chaisson for Bryant, and I'm a happy guy.
