Mathis is hard to call right now. But I have heard rumblings about the scenario above. Farrell and Mathis are pretty even to me based on film and strenghts so this will be interesting to watch but would be good with either. Having said that both WIlson and Farrell both have FSU in their top 2 so what if Farrell just does the opposite of Wilson. Just throwing that out there. Have not heard anyone say this was the case. I have been feeling really good about Wilson for some time now and haven't heard anything that worries me yet but either way I am sure we will see drama like usual until signing day.
Etienne felt the need to "throw shade" at LSU by saying he is going to play in "the real Death Valley"...
Going with the NCs - hard to argue. Some say these guys are turning their back on Louisiana, but it's really been the leadership at LSU letting the state down. If Eaux can turn it around I think we get more of these kids. Trash talk, that's a part of football.
This was more about Clemson came calling after he knew LSU was slow playing him the last 2 years. If Clemson didn't enter the picture late he would of been here and he was a take given the depth chart. However, he was more of a filler with potential. If there was a numbers game where we didn't have a need at RB he likely wouldn't of received a late offer from us. So we need to now focus on getting at least 2 good ones next year. Take 3 if benefits the class and we have room.
He tried to troll LSU which is fine. His dumb ass still has to come back here to see his family. Only problem for him is now he will never get a chance to play in the real Death Valley.
IMHO Etienne must have some attitude or character issues LSU knows about and didnt want to persue him unless Akers fell through. This Death Valley tweet tells me he is an asshole we will be fine.
IMHO... I agree that we will be fine, but I can't jump to conclusions regarding Etienne's character based on his decision to go to Clemson and his one "death valley" comment. I remember reading that Etienne felt that his style would be better utilized at Clemson than at LSU which favors a more power running style and at least for right now, hats off to Clemson, they sure were the real "death valley" to Alabama's glory dreams.
