Not at all have I said the sky is falling. I think this is going to be another excellent class. O will recruit extremely well, that I know. However, as he mentioned, we need to start with Louisiana. We need to repair that fence, which Bama has trampled. Winning solves that. O has that mantra, "one team, one heart beat." He will preach pride and family. I think we on the right track.
So we go 0fer tomorrow and you're whistling Dixie? I'm holding the bar high, our competition isn't handing out participation awards and they aren't sitting back to validate the excuses we make for ourselves. We'll need Eaux, Aranda, Canada, et al to do something Miles and co lost the chest for, coach em up, no prisoners. But a strong finish tomorrow will be a shot across the bow in one of Eaux's strongest suits.
Jesus Christ. I slayed those fools on FSA now I gotta do it here. Look here pal. We fired our coach because of piss poor results. We went 8-4 and fired a coach mid season along with key recruiting staff members. Do yourself a favor and use your sausage fingers and search in google how well 1st year coaches recruit mid season. This is absolutely rare that we didn't fall into the high 20's. We got some really good kids and have a proper staff. In case you missed it, Lester is unemployed. I'm not a recruiting guru at all, but I looked into all the things people have said about how and why O is doing a great job given the circumstances. They are 100% right. You cannot just start mid season and build a relationship with these kids like Miles "had". If we have a bad class next year, I'll eat my crow.
Ofer what? If we pick up no one that isn't currently on board we still have a great group. Especially since Big Ed hasn't had a whole year yet. Give it time. I think the offense should go a long way to opening some avenues that had been closed. Bottom line is tomorrow is already over. It's ALL about the future from here on out so let's see where we are a year from now. That will tell the tale.
What you do on FSA should stay there. I understand all the deep insight you're providing, and y'all are right - a nice class for a new coach. Top 10 given the circumstances is strong. But there has been talk leading up to signing day of all these great guys that Eaux is in on. Getting a good portion of them would be masterful. Losing out on them would be anticlimactic and is especially frustrating considering Eaux has been the recruiting coordinator, a lot of these kids are on defense and particularly dLine (Eaux's position prior to taking the HC gig), and a lot of these kids are going to the evil empire and Jimbo instead of the good guys.
Yep we lost 5 of 7 to bama. That shit has to stop. But quit being a vadge and suck it up. Give the guy next year before we judge him on recruiting. You're posts are depressing as fuck. Sound like that CO vagina.
Wow, how can yall say that Orgeron has not had a full year. He has been in some of these kids ears for years now and has been a coach at LSU, the title changed. There is no reason that d line commits that he has recruited for years since hes so great and has such great relationships with are not coming here. If you put on paper as coach A and coach B with his stats and another coaches stats, no one would ever pick him. Just because hes from Louisiana he is god..This is the start the bad years and yes this is a disappointment that he is not recruiting better when he is supposed to be one of the best. Also the D line coach can't talk to the kids, so what use is he. Yall all screamed about Miles yet yall are giving him every excuse in the book for not succeeding in recruiting. It's not like he came from a different school or anything. He was here.
