With only 4 slots open, it's gonna be interesting. You never know what can happen, but most say Surtain is a lock to LSU. Most feel that Joseph is all LSU as well. It's looking really good for Chase too. Joiner has had LSU his leader through out, but could Bama sway him? I'm not sure there is a place any longer for Foster if all four want to sign.

You get Joiner... If he is all-world, great... If not, Cain will come in and take over as a frosh.

Nadab Joseph, the CB from Miami. They have him as 100% Bama.

I'm hearing the kicker we signed will now count for the '18 class. That now leaves us with only three spots available and 4, possibly 5 leans. With the early signing period, we can't grayshirt a kid who could afford to pay his way for a year. Should be interesting to see who actually signs and who may be passed up. I'd go with Surtain, Joseph, and Chase in that case. While I really want Joiner, since we need a big powerful back, and we would be finally stealing a Bama kid away I rather keep instate kids. Unless it's a serious need and or the potential for one is that much greater.

Pretty sure we have 4 spots after counting the kicker.

Yeah, that’s what I read too. They were trying to get him to count as something other than a recruit, since he’s a transfer, but the designation didn’t hold, and NCAA said he counts against this class reducing the number from 5 to 4
