Congrats to Georgia. I always thought that other strong teams in the SEC would hurt BAMA and reduce their dominance. BAMA only signed 17 and had a bad year. It's happening.
Missed on QB (Canada fiasco, which O bungled) and CB (missed on a guy who’d been ours forever and didn’t take any other CB despite our numbers at the position). Recruited to needs except those two spots; pretty important spots. If O doesn’t turn in a great 2018 our trajectory is down; trying to put a fence up for 2018 recruiting will be damn near impossible, especially with a hot seat. Because of the disappointing 2017 Orgeron turned in, its all or nothing in 2018. EDIT: Orgeron needs to get two badass transfers in a bad way; he needs all the help he can get NOW. No point in waiting till 2019; it’ll be too late by then. I’ve got him marked at D+ for 2017; bringing in some immediate impact transfers might bring that back to C-.
Goodrich told Dabo he was in maybe on Monday night, maybe Tuesday but that was before the Surtain fiasco. O found out about Sustain 11pm on Tues. Tried to flip Goodrich but it was too late at that point. Sustain took us for a ride but that is all on big O for putting all his eggs in one basket. 23 of 25 with not a single CB is not a good look.
