That's how it starts. The future's uncertain and the end is always near. Bend over, put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. Next thing you know a future Jordan Jefferson is going to choose South Alabama over LSU. We will be playing with a roster of walk ons recruited from pickup games on the parade ground.
What bigger picture? So should we just mail the NC trophy to the winner of recruiting wars? The big picture in my mind is with the exception of losing one CB and not getting a QB we did well in filling our needs. Louisiana will be loaded with talent next year with great RB's and DB's and we really don't need a QB this year. We got both lines restocked, got 4 great Wr's, 1 athletic RB and 1 beast RB, 2 good kickers and some really good LB's. Once we start throwing the ball this season we will start getting QB's again.
We missed on more than 1 CB, got none though it was a position of need. Until we have good QB play, QB is a position of need. It was a good needs class overall, though, I agree. I agree that if the offense looks better our offensive recruiting and overall recruiting should improve. On the flip side, if Eaux struggles, 19 recruiting could fall apart.
How do you know that? If Brennan is named QB after spring I expect Narcisse and possibly McMillan to transfer. What if Brennan gets hurt. What if he turns out to not be all that good. Do you think we can just trade for a Nick Foles?
Narcisse isn't going anywhere. I expect we will see he and Brennan play next year. Loving is going to be the next Joe Montana.
