hotdog, determann is only a 5 or 6-inning guy per weekend usually. i'd rather him pitch on saturdays and dirks on fri. night. If detty pitches on fri, we will use alot of bullpen in the first game of the series. He needs to get in the rotation, though. scrappy, yes, clay was 0-4 but do u know the groove he's in?....chances of him going 0-5 are slim to none. He's been mr. clutch most of his career and dave van horn of arkansas (i think thats his name, manager) knew that. geaux tigers and lets win the next 2!:tigbas:
I understand that Clay is on a role right now. But, I'm looking at it from a this game only perspective. I would have taken the chance.
WOW, I cant believe i got focked so bad for saying this.....i now have enough negative rep points to last a couple of years. That is kind of ****ty because the point is very valid. Ohh well. So where do YOU guys think LSU will play a super at (lets assume a regional at box)?? Perhaps somewhere in FL? Geez...i guess I will get nailed for saying that too (lol).
Unfortunately, mccoy has a valid point. Even if LSU wins all of their remaining games, if Tulane keeps going the way they have been, a super-regional stands a good chance of being in Nola if both teams come out of the regionals. I don't see them getting put in the same regional though. But, this is just one year. And, LSU is getting into a groove and would have revenge on their minds. Tulane should not think another match-up would be easy just because they took the two regular season games!! That would be a fatal mistake!
