LAst post for the week beginning @ 5:08.... Good game Tigers. You played well down the stretch. Baby finally proved to me he is a beast and not a baby. Brady still has something to prove, he has to win during tourney time. I did say that I believed we would lose outright and I still believe if it were a neutral site that would have happened. Good fan support lifted the Tigers in this win. All you who went should give yourself a pat on the back, you were like a 6 man out there.

wish i couldve seen it. i guess i was wrong about gd not being able to do much against the big uk frontcourt. sounds like alleyene had his # for a while. how did gd get his? sounds like more hustle with o boards and put backs that post moves. im so surprised with the result with bad games from gt, tt, dm and tm. i was wrong about joe crawford too. did squat. lets talk about next week. the next two games are important for the sec title, but i hope cjb keeps tt and tm out and limits dm. give voogd and rolle tons of pt.
My Thoughts on the LSU/UK game.. Well guys, how about these Tigers? I don't know if I can remember a more gritty bunch of guys coming together like this in a season. Talk about overcoming adversity. UK played a great game and I don't see any reason why they can't knock off some people come NCAA time. They play a lot of guys and they are a good 3 point shooting team. I think if they get in and end up and 8-10 seed, they have potential to knock off some higher ranked teams. Now back to the Tigers. A great win in front of a national t.v audience. They played a great defensive game. Kentucky was also solid on the defensive end. They did a great job of switching defenses on the Tigers and making them uncomfortable. LSU still doesnt have the 3 ball working like they need to. Great minutes off the bench for Rolle and Lazare. In regards to Big Baby, what can you say? This guy scores 28 and has 15 boards, he's a man possessed right now. He really picked up the slack today. Its right now a matter of getting healthy for LSU. Tyrus has a high ankle sprain. Darrel is still slowed by his twisted ankle. Tasmin has back spasms. Those are 3 starters that need to heal in a hurry. This team showed great resolve by gettin a gutty win with Tyrus out and DMitch in foul trouble. The key now is just get healthy. I wouldnt be opposed to sitting Tyrus for the USC game. Rolle has improved and he could use some road experience. Not to mention Lazare has played great off the bench. If I'm JB I think long and hard about just giving him a game off. As JB said in his post game news conference, the USC game isnt really the important one. Even if you lose, you can come home against Ole Miss and still win the league outright. Health of these guys should be the main concern. Right now this is a 7 deep team and with 3 guys pretty banged up, they need to get rested. All in all it was a good game at the PMAC. I was a little let down by the student turn out. There were a few sections in the upper level that had a few fans scattered. Only 9600 for a national tv game against UK was disappointing. There were actually more people in the stands for the LSU/UGA Wednesday night game earlier this year. Figure that out. I understand Mardi Gras and the weather, but I was expecting atleast 11,000.
Re: My Thoughts on the LSU/UK game.. Depth will hurt LSU in the tourney, I fear. We can't take any loss of a starter. If only Bass and Minor were playing, this team could go to the sixteen, maybe higher.
