I never heard/read you say jack about his height until you called the show today. http://tigerforums.com/showthread.php?t=25539&page=1&pp=15&highlight=aaron+rodgers is the thread I'm speaking of. In it, you state Mel Kiper's prediction that Smith would go first, with absolutely no justification, height or otherwise. When I said AR is the best, you said "don't argue with Mel and me". Again, nothing about his height. Whatever. I guess next time I'll figure it out by divination or something.
you better call your ISP, someone posted under your name just last week: Originally Posted by tirk its possible if meyer fails then people will say the #1 pick in the draft made him in Alex Smith. anyone even think that any wins on the road in the SEC are easy???... bass and davis have subpar games.. and we win! Win Sat and we tie 2000 teams SEC victory total.... Right seed and bracket.. we could get a few wins in the tourney... Get a big 10 team that is physical.. one and done. All together now.... GOOOOO MOOOOOOOO ST. GEAUX TIGERS- waving bye bye to the bashers until next year.. go try to get rid of Smoke now.
haha yep, a win on the road is tough 99% of the time. nothing comes easy. just think, we may get to hang a CO-SEC WEST Champ banner like the ones ole miss cherishes.
The Tigers def had a mediocre road showing. But, a road win is a road win. Bass and Davis had struggles but the team got through it with a win. Sounds like Mitch hit some 3's on the road which is an oddity these days. You just hope that the Tigers can start playing those 40 min games this time of year. When it comes down to being on a neutral site in the dance, you cant take 7 mins or so without a bucket. A good team will run away from you. Ole miss is not a good team. They are mediocre but played great D tonite from what I heard of it. The Tigers will have a test in Vandy who is still playing for a lil tourney life. Once the tourney rolls around, you cant just play flat footed in the first half and then pull away in the second.
Ole miss is a very good defensive team... lost some very close games at home this year including KY, which they had by over 14 at one point, bama... which won by 6 but the game was in doubt with over a minute to play... With our 2 best players stinking up the joint... we won the game. This game was destined to be an ugly win..
agreed. But it'll be tough to get ugly wins like that come tourney time. That should be the new team motto. Play For 40 mins. Was i correct in hearing that they went like 6 mins in the first half without a field goal? That can't happen against good offensive teams. But a road win is a road win and the Tigers will take them as they get them.
Did anyone hear how many LSU fans were on the road cheering the tigers on? LSU fans are the greatest!!! GEAUX TIGERS!
