Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway. This season was most disappointing!

    I'm just stating the opposite.
There are plenty of Brady defenders that will defend him until his dying breath.
I'm just saying that Brady never gets any blame no matter what on this forum
for anything but there are more than enough to make up excuses for him.

I don't care if he coaches here until the end of time.
And I'm not going to go on here to much longer, total waste of time and
    space.

Pardon me, I'm wrong , the basketball geniuses are here saying it isn't a talent or recruiting problem its because we are tired.
Then what is the excuse for the rest of the season when we weren't tired?
Yes we were tired tonight but that wasn't the only problem.

Yes you guys are smart and I'm stupid!

I was excited about Mason (whoops), but not so much about Martin who was basically asked to leave by Coach Knight. Martin has been mostly a pleasant surprise to me for this whole season.

Abernethy leads the conference in assists per game and A/T ratio. Doyne is scoring nearly 17 a game.

That's what hiring a coach does for a program. Coaching turns average to bad players into good ones.

I think Brady's offensive philosophy is "street". I'm pissed that I wasted my time watching this crap, again. Ole Miss played well. We were tired and just about everything that could have went wrong in the first half did. I don't even know if I'm going to make the attempt to watch the NIT (if we make it).

Some thoughts come to mind reading your post here.
Guard play for this team has been consistantly bad all season.

On one hand you say that our guards were rated higher than Ole Miss.
I would actually like to see that but even if they are I will point out that Mason and Martin are transfers?
    Whats the story with this?
Did Brady recruit them to transfer or did it just happen by chance?

You say our guards are rated higher yet they haven't played like it all year?
Seems like your own post contradicts itself?

I was referring to the defenders and not the defectors!:hihi:
Hell, I don't care if Brady stays here forever, could care less.
I'm not trying to bash him just trying to be for real about the situation.
He receives credit and should receive blame as well!

He was referring to your statement that LSU can't recruit. We're not just throwing 5 random guys out there and our team probably is up their talent-wise in the SEC. Its just their rating doesn't reflect how they play on the court; like tonight...
And yes i will give blame to CJB; he didn't have our guys ready. But thats no excuse for our players as well. Its just I completely 100% blame him after every single game, especially losses. There will never be enough people to blame after losses. You can only blame the coach so much...
Well, maybe i'm just a positive guy? Who knows.

Please show me where I said LSU and Brady can't recruit?
That isn't what I said although I think Brady doesn't recruit guards very well.
I'd also point out by saying what I did is that we could've used a guard who
can handle the ball and pressure similar to Tack Minor.
I will bring him and Lloreda into the picture now to point out it isn't wise to
recruit people with problems off the court, sometimes it works and sometimes
    it doesn't.
No one can answer my questions here.
Did Brady recruit Mason and Martin or did they just transfer on their own and
why didn't they come here as freshman, perhaps Brady didn't recruit them?
Not saying either way but would like to know!
My bad, I thought we were!

    or all season guard wise!

    Agreed.
I'm actually trying to stay positive for next season but if no point guard who
can handle these situations come in its not going to be much better in the
turnover department, prepare to be pressured.

either they recruited better guards than us...

or they developed them... regardless... both responsibilities are on the coach right?

    what am I missing?
