Atleast we don't have a coach like Howland! Oh, nevermind, I wish we did. Still don't like Brady and I don't care what you say.
I am not the biggest fan of Brady either, but we could of have Coach Wooden or Coach K and still would of lost by 10+.
No doubt, tonight was not our night. I just like Howland and have never liked Brady as a coach and I'm sad that Skip will probably give him some sort of lifetime contract now.
Poop. That's about all I have to say. Honestly, I'm really not that mad. I'd rather get beaten like that than have it go down to the wire and lose on a missed shot. Great season, boys. Definitely exceeded everybody's expectations. We just didn't have it tonight. Time to get drunker.
Our team showed a lot of character tonight. They played hard all the way to the end, and there is a good shot we could be back in the Final 4 next year. I'm damn proud to be a Tiger. Sometimes games go this way. They couldn't miss, and we couldn't throw it in the ocean. If you won em all it wouldn't be any fun anyway.
Free throw shooting is another issue that has to be addressed next year. 13 out of 28 from the free throw line is an embarassing stat for a Final Four team. We didn't give ourselves a chance to win.
LSU became one of the better free throw shooting teams in the SEC. I'm not sure how you "address" it, other than have kids hit 'em, when it counts. Tonight shows you that the psyche of team can be fragile, and our guys didn't hit shots, they didn't hit free throws. Some of those free throws, loose balls getting picked up by us, getting rebounds, is the subtle difference between a win and a loss.
all i have to say is that i really hate that one-week layoff. it helps rests players, sure, but damn... i mean, it can really kill a team's mojo
