I am a lifelong LSU fan who lives 45 minutes from Bryant Denny Stadium and works less than five blocks from there. I wanted to win tonight but was proud to see the defense play as well as it did. Take away the obvious pass interference on the touchdown and we loss 6-3 to the number one team in the country. I just hope that we can find some offense before we come to Tuscaloosa.
Or 9-3 if they kick the field goal. I feel the same way. We played well against the number one team. If we beat Bama, we'll see them again. Hopefully, Jefferson will be much more experienced by then.
The O-line is the biggest problem right now. They cannot even open holes against bad opponents much less good ones like Florida. Without a running game, Florida was able to play back and cover all receivers well. Getting pressure on a QB when rushing 3 is a sure sign of bad personnel. You don't need great a scheme to block man on man, just good players.
