What time will the band, the girls and Mike enter the stadium?

We'll be making the trip, and this is something we want to experience.

By official rule, the band comes down the hill 1 and 1/2 hours before kickoff (6pm kick=4:30) but, if you want any sort of decent view of this (baring a north stadium ticket, which provides an excellent view from the upper concourse) aim to be there for 4 and even earlier (about 3:50) if you want to hang on the barricades and see the players come down the hill. and dont think the rain will lessen the crowd, Fresno St. a few years ago it was raining buckets before kickoff and the street was still packed.

 

8:00 AM: LSU Ticket Office opens

9:00 AM: LSU Sports Shop Opens

10:00 AM: New Alex Box concessions and bathrooms open

1:30 PM: Allison Collins Band performs at Tiger One Village infront of the PMAC

2:30 PM: TAF Tailgate opens

3:00 PM: Club level and Suites open at Tiger Stadium

3:15 PM: LSU Student gate open at Tiger Stadium

3:30 PM: All remaining gates open at Tiger Stadium

3:55 PM: LSU walks down "Victory Hill"

4:15 PM: Mike VI and LSU band march down Victory Hill **this is a change in scheduling from previous years**

What I want to see tonight -

Defense:

I just hope to see a more aggresive defensive secondary. I was dissapointed last week by Chad Jones' failing tackling abilities. But not just him, several tackles were missed. And I hope Peterson breaks it wide open again.

Offense:

Russell Freakin' Shepard

 

If the forecast holds, you could be right as rain...

 

PREDICTION: Surprisingly high score for the conditions because the LSU defense figures it out and give the ball to the offense A LOT. Vandy back down to earth after a dominating effort in their season opener.

LSU 35, Vandy 10 = something like that.

 

A couple things I can almost guarantee.

1. Russell Sheperd plays.

2. Reuban Randle catches his first pass as a Tiger.

3. Jefferson will slide instead of taking big hits. ( heard there has been a big focus on that with him this week)

 

Let's bring in the 09 season at Death Valley in style Tigers!! Defense makes adjustments, offense opens it up, our nerves get better.
