uf has more talent. itll be several rounds into the tourney b4 lsu sees a team with that much. davis cant handle a topnotch frontcourt. especially without tt. i was hoping for more high post with gd to see if he could hit more jumpers. gd needs to learn from this when to pass, how to pass and when to take it strong. there wont be many vandys after the 1st round of the tourney. still, im encouraged. lsus offense is very good and against lesser talent and/or with tt should dominate the first two rounds.
Because in this case, it won't seriously affect our seeding in the NCAA Tournament and the players will get an extra day of rest. Also, better to lose to Florida (who is ranked ahead of us), then play a hot South Carolina team and lose to them. Honestly, I'm not upset by this. Had we won the tournament, we may have gotten a 2 seed - ok. But at this point, our players need all the rest they can get so they can be ready to go for the Big Dance. We locked up the season championship. The tournament championship would've just been lagniappe.
