From what Ive read so far theres been no indication of any major injurys...little dings and dents here and there but nothing serious...plus we have some descent depth. You nailed it though....RUN RUN RUN....ball control and eat clock.:helmet:
3 things we have to keep in mind: 1) no letdown after emotional win last week 2) looking ahead to AU and 3) KU will be fired up for several reasons; not the least of which being what happened there on our last visit to Lexington.
They didn't dominate like we've seen them in the first few games this year, but I'd hardly call their performance sloppy. Fla controlled the game for the first 3 quarters mainly because of their success on third down.
LSU 31 UK 14 I suspect a bit of tiredness after a draining win over Fla. UK trying to bounce back from their loss. We're on the road. After all the upsets, I hope we're focused. Hopefully our receivers will start hanging on to the ball. Have they all had their eyes tested; it worked for Bowe.
Two things that concern me. Will we come out a little flat after such an emotional game. Kentucky usually play's us tough in at their place.
This game has worried me from the beginning. We should easily win if we don't come out flat. But if we do and let Kentucky hang around, it may be another nail biter. As with Florida, we will get every team's best effort. They all want to beat #1. We must match their effort every game.
I expect our defense to come up big on this one. Woodson will be pressured alot and will be up close and personal with our front 7 throughout the night. LSU - 38 UK - 17
