I definitely hope the same thing about the game plan and offensive play calling. Let's hope they are saving everything and that the play calling will be drastically different next week. Where are all of the quick passes and throws to the TE? I also agree that the OL looks much weaker than I expected and state doesn't have nearly the speed up front that VT has. D looks great but I expected a little more rush out of the front 4. The DB's look to have their act together and are catching balls even in the rain which is a good sign. Hopefully the O will come alive in the second half.

I AM CERTAINLY CURIOUS AS TO THE ETHNIC MAKEUP OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT ARE SAYING THIS ALREADY.DO YOU REALISE THAT THE QB IS DOING WHAT THE COACHES ARE TELLING HIM TO DO?

I think pulling our starting QB out of the first game of the season at halftime the week before he has to face the VT defense is an atrocious idea.

Stewart is getting his arse handed to him, but the play calling absolutely sucks and there hasn't been many dropped balls certainly not more than average.

Who scored the first td? I missed that one.

17 at the half isn't bad, and I certainly expected first game jitters, especially from the o and in the rain. Let's see if they make adjustments at the half.

Four interceptions is "good"? Man, the bar is set REALLY low in the cowbell capitol of the USA.

Of course the play calling is conservative at this point!! Its the first game and its raining. Whys it so hard for LSU fans to understand this? People on all the LSU boards are already saying we are doomed this season because of the offense.

State has 4 or 5 turn overs, LSU should score 17 if state had none. Still plenty time for the O to step up, but the first half looked weak.
