I agree offense looks very average. There are some good plays, Flynn to Doucet, Hester runs, but some not so good plays, like Flynn is being run too many times. But its the first game. Players may have believed the press clips too much, and Miss St. showed up to play ball. But the big difference is how bad State's QB is. He's handing us opportunities, we're not MAKING them for ourselves.
I hope so. (Perrilloux playing) MSU is hanging tough. I wonder how long it will be before they believe they can't win?
 LSU! I have to agree here. I'm not suggesting that we pull Flynn to screw up his brain. I think that Flynn isn't making intelligent choices (albeit the coaches are making the calls). But,,,,,he's running before reading the D it seems. And,,,,we're ahead against a team with NO offense. Why not let Perrilloux show what he can do? He might light it up! LSU!
Calm down. This is not the time to panick. We are ahead 17-0. A disappointing offensive effort, certainly. But a great defensive effort. Flinn has completed 8 of 13 passes. Not a bad percentage.
Carnell Stewart has looked really bad. I really hope he'll be able to learn to play the position at the SEC level.
You're right. As I've said, we've got a somewhat comfortable lead. A few more points, give Perrilloux a chance. Ain't that what you do with a lead against a team that can't score on you?
