I think the fact that he was pressured more than anyone probably expected and didn't throw any pics, plus his completion percentage was respectable, and threw 2 TDs, speaks for itself. Perrilloux looked promising, but the DAWGs had their tails between their legs before he even got his chin strap buttoned up...
OK,,,,let's be honest in the game summary. Flynn looked hesitant. I think he ran before it was time on several plays. HOWEVER,,,he did NOT throw any interceptions. That does show poise. We do have other receivers other than Doucet. I don't think he looked the field as well as he shoud have. Perrilloux looked good in the short time he played. I'm encouraged by that. I do feel that Flynn is our starter. I certainly hope that this game gives him confidence going into next week. VT will pressure him. I REALLY hope the offensive coordinater was holding back. VT has a TREMENDOUS defense. WE have a TREMENDOUS defense. Next week will tell the tale. GO TIGERS!!!
I feel better after seeing the adjustments made at halftime. I think MSU was fired up and inspired in the first half and LSU wasn't. Maybe it was because Miles & Co. installed a "vanilla" gameplan. Who knows? But, a win is a win and an SEC win is a BIG win. I think we know more about where we stand than VT will after playing a cupcake on Saturday.
I love it 45 points and we held back !! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT !! This team has the look of which LSU team ? #1 Geaux Tigers !!
Long time no see Jean... I am sooooo happy that football is back and you are here to be along for the ride. (Also to set some of these young posters straight.)
