so cd, any specific reasons for your optimism? do the rb's match up well with our d-line or do the wr's have an advantage over the middle? you're starting to sound like a one trick pony. :)

Yes, we will have even more speed at the running back position, as well as depth. More change of pace to contend with out of the backfield, plus size.

Wide receiver depth will be the best in recent memory. It was already coming on during the last 6 games of 2006.

You must remember that a lot of my post have been just to have some fun and levity. However, I do believe that the "Dawgs" will be competitive enough to win on August 30. Should be a great game to kick off the 2007 football season, i.e., by the best conference in the country. I understand the game of football. Played it at the high school level, even though a long time ago.

    Go Dawgs!

Thought I would share this link...the same Tidefans preview that we saw about LSU on the other thread...but this one's for MSU. Again, very in depth and informative...I even learned who Micheal Henig is. It isn't pretty, but it is what it is. Enjoy!:thumb:

I think I figured out ClaraDawg. You know those crazy guys who always predict off the wall stuff? Wrong 99.99999999999999% of the time, and people just laugh them off. But man when they actually get one of their WAG's right, they puff out their chests and yell "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!"

    That's who CD is.

A lot of the Tidefans's analysis of MSU is on target, but not all. There will be some new faces on the field this year that will make a difference. Regardless of the analysis, the Bulldogs should be able to prevail aginst the "Elephants" in Starkville.

    Go Dawgs!
