Ok...I KNOW we've had kick-catch interference calls to save us, but is ANYONE else NOT worried/scared every single time we are back to field a punt?????

I'm at the point that I would make ANY player that tried to catch a punt run stadiums until his legs fell off!!!!

 

How many times will Va Tech change their Uniforms 21- 10 Va Tech 3rd Q 8 mins left

 

Remember, we definately looked this "vanilla" for a few games last season but managed to put it together when it counted.

I know we lost a great DC in Pelini, but when we retain 2 defensive coaches that had worked directly with Pelini for 4 seasons, you have got to believe that they can do some good work without him. Might not exactly gameplan as well as Bo, but I have confidence in them putting it together when they have to.

 

Chad Jones doesn't concern me as far as his ability to field the ball. He's not going to have the explosive plays that Trindon does, but Trindon makes me nervous when he fields punts. The first punt tonight he did the right thing, but they pulled him anyway for the re-kick.

 

can we get a freakin 1st down???
