Oh wow, how did we ever convince ESPN2 that this game will be even enjoyable to watch ...for Tulane fans and the common public
Finally a game against an opponent similar to all the ones Oklahoma and USC have played this year.:thumb:
Tulane had an impressive win over mighty Southeastern, 35-27. We better be ready to play.:hihi: If Flynn isn't fully healed, hold him out. We need to get our young WRs some serious playing time. And please try someone new at returning punts.
Well atleast they can't say toolame is overrated :hihi: I wonder when their fans are gonna come here and tell us to not over look them :dis:
While I have always been an advocate for players to be given good rest to allow healing of their injuries, I think Flynn should play maybe a quarter to at least get his timing with the receivers in game conditions. In a way, the dome condition should be perfect, but yet the field will be faster. You can bet there will be a ton of passing plays at the Tulane game. Someone had even suggest Richard Murphy as the punt returner. Wonder how good he is at judging the high ball, and if he has the nerve in facing the defenders stampeding towards him?
It'll depend on how much better he feels this week. But he really struggled with planting and pushing off that ankle last night. We will need him to be much better against Florida.
In the overall scheme of things, I'd much rather have Flynn sit out if playing next week wiould prolong his injury. No point in not having him in a much better condition for the Florida game.
