Did anybody get more yards than Steltz? I don't think Doucet even made it to 100. I'm looking forward to the VaTech game. I think everyone is almost as much in the dark as we were before the MooU game. I think everyone feels good about the defense and our punter is solid, but other than that...?
Rain is forecast for Sat in Baton Rouge....When I was at LSU ('69-'73) we used to say "Tigers have webbed feet" and rain wasn't much of a worry. But with today's emphasis on speed, does that still hold true? What do you think? Would rain hurt LSU or VT more? (I think rainy weather favors the D.)
I say the VT defense bends but won't break for a while and it's a field goal fest early. I call it this way... LSU 19 VT 10
Va Tech looks sluggish against ECU. The emotion has probably drained those kids but look for them to play a much much better game against us next week. This will be a war on the line with LSU winning 13-7.
