I think there's little doubt that VT will play a better game next Sat than today. Unfortunately for them, so will the Tigers. I predict Flynn finds his tight ends and receivers-not-named-Doucet more; Hester, Williams and Scott combine for over 200 yards on the ground; and the defense keeps the Hokies under 200 yards total.

I was not real impressed with Va Tech today, they looked sluggish to me too, I think both teams will improve before next week. But I think that LSU! will be a better improved team.

 

will ESPN Gameday be in Baton Rouge this weekend?

i head that if Notre Dame lost today, they weren't going to be at the ND Penn St. game and we were next in line?

is there any truth behind this?

 

Va Tech didn't look good yesterday, but I wouldn't start chalking this up as an automatic W just yet. There was alot of emotional things going on the week leading up to that game yesterday and theres no way to tell if that affected them or not. Don't fall into the trap of thinking this will be an easy win.

I do not think our coaches would let them fall into this trap. The possible effect the VT team's performance may have is removing any intimidation factor for their defense while, hopefully, still maintaining respect.

 

It's just hard for me to believe Va Tech is not better than what they showed yesterday. I compare it to the Ole Miss game for us last years. We were ALOT better than the 23-20 final indicated.
