I was at the VaTech game yesterday. Here are some thoughts: - Brandon Ore was just out of it. He fumbled almost the first time he was hit, ran the wrong way on pass protection leaving Glennon open for a sack and fumble, and dropped a couple of easy passes. Expect him to be better Saturday. - Sean Glennon has trouble when his first option isn't open. Doesn't seem to be able to make decisions quickly. - The right offensive tackle is AWFUL! He's slow and got pushed over backwards (while standing up) by a ECU defensive lineman. They really can't protect Glennon. - Field goal kicker is new and was kicking pretty low. I really don't see their offense scoring a TD. Defense, maybe. Special teams, maybe. But, offense - nope.
i agree... i watched this game yesterday thinking this couldn't be the va tech ranked in the top ten. i suspect they'll play much better at TS but we'll prevail by 2 td's. 20-6
Apparently you don't, that's for sure. I'll break it down for you: none of us have a clue. We're all idiot fans on a football forum tooting our own horn. I (partially in protest) posted a score that I knew would get lots of fans angry. Then, after the game when one would normally post something that seemed more accurate, I posted a more ludicrous score. Football season rolls around and people come on here and think they know more than any of the coaches. You may think you know more than me, but if you do then you've never watched LSU football. We haven't gone a season without a loss since 1958. Half a century, almost. That kind of tradition is hard to ignore. OK, I'll give for the geniuses amongst us. Actual prediction: LSU 21 Va Tech 20 Flynn looks fine but Crowton insists upon trying to catch VT off guard with the run- which the invigorated VT defense, out to prove itself, will have nothing of (The most passing I think we'll see will be more of that outrout stuff). LSU's defense is stifiling at first, but after two first half field goals Beamer makes the changes during halftime and they score in the second half- but not enough.
I tell the kids at day care to "play pretty" :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
Tentex, Now THAT would be a game for the ages! Some of us with bad hearts just might not live to see the end of the game.
I realized during the National Championship game that I have a very good heart. I usually just start drinking heavy, and then I am just to drunk to care.:hihi: :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
