Well actually Ibaka just inked the deal first. I think they over paid for ibaka but they were both in contact years and he ate first. When it was done they didnt have enough to pay the beard. They actually offered harden a great deal of money that would have put them over the cap even though that is why we still have that oaf perkins.

For the record I think Hou over paid for Harden as well but it is what it is. Thunder could have come out if this in pretty good shape but they didnt even make a play in the free agent market so hard to say they missed. Just really bad gm action in my opinion. We will see if they amnesty that retard at the end of this year so it only cost 9 mil instead of 17. If Presti doesnt get some bench help after this year he is toast as well as brooks which is a good move imo. Oh wait, not another 80% winner on the chopping block? You damn right. That fool needs to go.

Westbrook needs that leash. I have no Issue with how he handles russ, its his damn love affair with perkins that drives me up a damn wall. Its like a repeat of Les and (> 8 <10)

You should research coaches who win COY and where they are 5 years later. Scotty is about to fall right in line.

 

Thibs > Doc at defense.

 

I'd even say Thibs should get credit for anything Doc does defensive wise, those Celtics teams weren't nearly as good once Thibs left, and hell if you have KG you're going to have a good defense.

They couldnt. They offered more than they really could afford and he balked so they traded him. Turns out they got nothing in return.

 

I said when they first paid Perkins that it was going to cost them big. I assumed it was going to cost them Ibaka though, not Harden. Man can you imagine if they had not been stupid with Perkins? Play Ibaka at the 5, Durant at the 4, Sefalosha at the 3, Harden at the 2, and Westbrook at the 1.

Easily the best team in the NBA.
