That is the one place I didn't want him to end up. In the end he is still Andy Bynum and the only real question is when will he go Andy Bynum again. It will happen.
Not when you are crunched for cap money like okc is, in a small market at that. 17 mil of free money could go a loooooong way for them right now. A helluva lot farther than that big oaf perkins.
Knicks have announced a Tuesday news conference to introduce Phil Jackson as new top basketball executive.
Anthony Davis has set a new career high two games in a row. Followed up 36 Friday with 40 tonight (and 21 rebounds) against Boston. He is going to be a monster.
I haven't seen him play much this year but keep up enough to know that he's living up to expectations. Other than Lebron and Durant, there aren't many (any?) players that you'd want over him as your franchise player going forward. As far as I can tell, he seems likeable. With him still being so young, I'd expect that he still has room for growth.
I have seen some of his play and he can be dominating. Future looks bright for the Pelicans if he stays healthy and Loomis doing his magic as usual.
Durant is gonna leave OKC for LA ... why would he stay with an organization that still supports Brooks?
I've heard that LA is a definite possibility but OKC is the favorite to get out of the West. If they do, I think they have a decent chance of winning it all. Some of the early articles about Durant (from a few years ago) gave the impression that he loved the "college feel" of OKC and being friends with teammates outside of work. I would be an OKC/Durant fan if I didn't like so many other teams in the West already.
