Crazy to say because he just did it last night but I don't think the Clippers can win this on CP3's back alone. I'm not saying they won't come out on top but they will need Blake, Jordan and Crawford to do what they do with a little help from Barnes. That is of course if the Thunder pull their head out of their asses and play just a little bit of D. CP3 went off last night because he was given the opportunity. You can't, simply can't switch screens on a team like this. This creates things like Kendrick Perkins trying to guard CP3 on the perimeter and well, you saw the result of that. It isn't just Perkins, Ibaka, Durant, the whole lot of them. Switching creates too much space and allows for him to get loose and get those shots off. Lets see if Scotty boy is up to the task and makes the right calls.
I feel like I'm giving too much stock in game 1 of the this round, kind of like everyone does for week 1 of the NFL. What series will go the longest? I will go with Pacers/Wizards. Hoping Heat & Thunder series go the distance as they are interesting matchups.
In case anyone wants to see what real class looks like, well, this just about covers it. KD is pretty damn special. He starts talking about the 19:50 mark. If you let your browser load it up it doesn't take long to jump ahead to it. It is worth the wait. http://www.news9.com/story/25447732...s-humility-greatness-arent-mutually-exclusive
He really is, for as great as he is on the court you would never know it. Dude just has humble dripping off of him. When he becomes a free agent I can guarantee there won't be any "Decision" hooplah. He will just make his decision quietly and go about his business.
Pop showing again that he's one of the best coaches ever. Wow, for Portland to get smacked around the way they did ... Houston should feel lucky that Portland only slightly embarrassed them. Timmy and Tony would have make a mockery of them for all to see.
